Next Sunday, when we say “one more time”, we will truly mean it. A bittersweet moment, as we say goodbye to our 2026 senior graduates. We are so excited to make memories & have all the adventures that nationals brings with it.

You’ve done the work, now it’s your time!

As we head to nationals this week, Leave it all on the floor, dancers- let’s go! 🩵💯

Happy Father’s Day to all the dance dads & grandpas! When we win your approval at recital, we know we’ve done something right. Thank you- for the cheers, support & love that you give your kids & grandkids- we appreciate you! 🩵

🩵ESOD is now taking registration for the 2026-27 season! Join us, for our 58th season of dance!

-Competitive & recreational classes.
-New teams begin summer session on July 13.
-Recreational classes begin on September 15.
-Class sizes are limited.
-Classes are open to observation in the dance room.
-Easy registration, through email.

You asked & we listened! In addition to our summer session for teams, we will also have a summer recreational class, before we resume classes in the fall. ⬇️⬇️

🩵We are so proud of our tiny ballerinas! They learned so much this year & were very brave on stage. From arabesque to “hands on hips”, they stole the show! Congratulations, dancers on completing your first year of ballet & tap! 👏🏼🥰

🎭🩵2026 MTI Production

We loved every second of MTI. We had so much fun & already miss it! So very proud of these dancers & their commitment to character. We were FULL OUT!

🩵We would like to take a moment & thank the people who helped to make our 57th recital, the special night that it was….

To our dance families…. you are the definition of “simply the best”. Your support of ESOD & our dancers means everything to us. All of our students performed their hearts out- from our tiniest dancers, to our senior graduates. We are so very proud to have you all, in our dance family.

Thank you to our assistants, class helpers & faculty- Katrina Pankey, Charlie Cole, Sydney Bittner, Autumn Sandusky, Lola Barber, Emma Lucas, Brylee Yeager, Kylie Cassens, Alaya Chacon & Kelsey Shroyer- you show up every week for us & these kids- we appreciate you, more than you could ever know.

Thank you to Susan Meany, for help with our tickets. To Mellisa McMillan for designing our program. To Taylor Spellman, for being the best show director, ever. To Vitalii Lysivskyi, for taking over 4000 photos, that we just can’t wait to share. To John Coffey, Kelly Shroyer, Tilly Dolan & Ava Cassens for helping backstage & with our lineups. Everything ran so smoothly- even finale!

To the amazing people The Dixon Historic Theatre for making us feel so welcome, for the entire time we are there. From the graphics on the screens, to the light show, to the clean up crew. You go way above & beyond- we are thankful for you. Special shout out to Scott & Tori- you are the best.

Thank you to our audience, who clapped & cheered for our dancers- the entire night. Your support means so much to them & to us🩵.

Thank you Kaleel’s Clothing & Printing for the perfect MTI t-shirts, not just for this year- but the 9 MTI productions before it. Our t-shirts have become a huge part of MTI & you have helped us to make quite the collection.

Thank you to Linda Eastman & Maria Burke- for your generous donations to scholarships, from The Alley Loop & The Royal Palms. Two of our students were awarded these scholarships & it is so special that you choose to do this.

Thank you to Stephanie Dusing & Behrz-Bloomz, for providing incredible flowers & bouquets for us, our dancers & for delivering them to the theater. You never disappoint- they are always beautiful.

We are so very proud of our dancers. Every time we were able to take a peek on stage, they were smiling from ear to ear- in every dance. We saw so much love & energy on that stage. Congratulations to all, on wonderful performances.

We have taken a few days to rest, but we will have more to share. Our teams are headed to nationals next week & we couldn’t imagine a much better send off, than such a joyful recital night.

We will have much more to say, about the incredible people, at The Dixon: Historic Theatre. Their support of ESOD is monumental in their efforts to give us the recital we believe our dancers deserve. Thank you, so very much- we will see you tonight!

Tonight, Eastman School of Dance takes over the Dixon Historic Theatre!

ESOD's 57th Annual Recital will light up the stage with an evening of incredible performances, beautiful costumes, and the talent they've worked so hard to develop throughout the year. Congratulations to all the dancers, staff and parents on an amazing year!

We can't wait to welcome ESOD back to The Dixon for this annual tradition!

🎭🩵Our 2026 Musical Theater Intensive Production

Celebrating our 10th MTI, this year’s production features music from Back to the Future, The Sound of Music, School of Rock, Wicked, Grease, & Juliet, Aladdin, The Greatest Showman & Beetlejuice.

Featuring dancers ages 5-18, this is a mega-production, not to miss. We are so proud of their commitment to character & having fun while giving it their all.

We can’t wait to see you on stage tonight! 🩵
