Ruritan has lost yet another great member. It is again with a heavy heart and deep sadness that I inform you of the passing of Darvills' Ruritan member Spence Wallace. Spence was a member for nearly 45 years and worked countless hours withe the Club before his declining health slowed him down. Spencer was very active in his Community and his Church and was referred to by many as the Mayor of Darvills. Please keep his family in your thoughts and prayers. Visitation is this afternoon from 3PM-6PM and a funeral service will be held tomorrow at 3PM. For more information, please click on the link below.

It is with a heavy heart that I inform you of the passing of Irving Pritchett's wife, Doris. Doris was a teacher at Dinwiddie High School for nearly 4 decades and was Dinwiddie County through and through. Please keep Irving and the entire family in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. Doris' obituary is listed below.

Trey Lucy presents a donation from Dinwiddie Ruritan Club for our continued support of the Dinwiddie Elementary School's program, Dinwiddie Ruritan Citizenship Awards, voted on by classmates each nine weeks. The program has been in place nearly 15 years and has shown the great character of so many youths in our schools. Thanks Dinwiddie Elementary for your continued support of this program.
