It takes a village to put on a youth rodeo!
As this incredible Beaverhead Junior Rodeo weekend comes to a close, we’re reminded that none of this happens without an amazing community standing behind it.
From setting up the arena to running events, announcing, timing, sorting cattle, working the office, cleaning up, and everything in between, countless hours go into making this rodeo possible. It’s a true team effort.
We are beyond grateful to our generous sponsors who believe in investing in the next generation of cowboys and cowgirls. Because of your support, we were able to pay out over $6,000 in cash, in addition to awarding high-quality prizes that our contestants were proud to earn.
Thank you to Scarlett Garrison and Missy Biggs for keeping everything running smoothly in the announcer’s booth. Your organization and dedication helped keep the rodeo on schedule from start to finish.
A heartfelt thank you to the Gonsalves, Osburn, Bernall, Probst, Davis, Tash, Tarter, and Robbins families, along with the many other volunteers who stepped in wherever they were needed. Whether you were behind the scenes or in the arena, your time and effort made this event possible.
A special thank you to the Fairgrounds and Akerson’s for the incredible new arena ground. The footing was outstanding and played a huge role in helping keep our horses and kids safe all weekend!
Most importantly, thank you to every sponsor, volunteer, contestant, and family who helped make this weekend such a success. Beaverhead Junior Rodeo is about more than competition—it’s about building character, creating memories, and preserving the western way of life for the next generation.
Thank you for believing in our kids. We can’t wait to see everyone back in the arena next year🐴
