It’s been a great week at the Lane County Library! The summer reading program is really heating up as we’ve hosted Dino O’Dell and learned what really makes up a strawberry!

Every living thing has DNA. It's the blueprint that makes a dog an animal, a rose a flower and even you a human! Did you know that 60 percent of the DNA found in strawberries is also in humans? Come out Thursday to learn more about the similarities between humans and this sweet, summer fruit! 🍓

Summer Reading is definitely happening at the Lane County Library. We are averaging around 25 kids each week. We would love to increase the numbers.
