So many people are stressed right now. That used to be me, too. I promise you, making Christmas happen does not fall on your shoulders. You do not need to make 8 different dishes. You do not have to attend all the parties. Your children do not need another gift. Do the best you can -- that looks different for everyone. Don't forget to rest in the true reason for Christmas, and don't forget to enjoy the blessings you have. Everything else is just "stuff". ✨

Praying for all of my friends dealing with hard things. "The Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make his face shine on you and be gracious to you; the Lord turn his face toward you and give you peace."

I have a little display of small works set up at Montgomery Bell State Park in the visitors center! If you visit the park, stop by and check it out. My best-selling butterfly stickers are there and available. Simply scan any of the QR codes to purchase them, and any of the paintings, via venmo.

Honest moment: the tree painting in the center was a sketch for a larger artwork. I don’t really care for it, but my husband loves it and hung it in his office at work. He said EVERYONE who comes in for a meeting loves it! I don’t know what it is about it, but he insisted I display it this month 💕

Honest life: I was gearing up for several opportunities to showcase my art this month, and I couldn’t wait to share it publicly. Sadly, my mom’s health is rapidly declining. It wasn’t even a decision - of course I would spend these hard moments with her. It is the better thing. The thing I hope my loved ones would do for me. I missed out on an art show I paid to participate in and the opportunity to have artwork in a store. I believe in living every day like it’s your last. There will be other art shows and other stores. Family is always first. 💕

Last painting of 2024! I’m a little sad to part with her, but thanks to scanning she will live on. I hope her new owner loves her 🥰

I’ve been around the world (figuratively) and came back to where I started. Turns out jewel-toned florals is home for me 💕
