Our Saturday Morning Youth Bowling Leagues Fall Session begins September 12 at 9:30am!

Fun times await you! Highlights include special events, parties, achievement awards, tee shirts, recognition, scholarship opportunities, everyone plays always, learn, socialize, good times!

YOUTH LEAGUES: Tomorrow, August 11, will be our final evening for the Tuesday Summer Stars & Strikes Kids’ Bowling Clubs. Before bowling, at 6:30, all members will receive their awards and tee shirts! Pizza, fountain beverages and our famous chocolate chip cookies will be served to bowlers following the awards presentation, when bowling begins. (NOTE: Please PM us if your child has a food allergy).

Pictured are a few of the bowlers, a proud grandmother, and a Mom/daughter duo, Cay and Erin. They, with Dad, have since moved to Arkansas to live near family. Last Tuesday was Cay’s 9th birthday, and they generously shared cupcakes with all of the league members to celebrate the occasion! We are thankful for their kindness. We all wish their family the best, and will certainly miss all of you. Cay has been a regular member in all of our youth programs.

I remember when there was no team to take bowling. Last week, the crew packed Idle Hours North in Dickson City, PA for a day of laughter, competition, pizza, wings, and celebrating just how far we have come.

There was some questionable form, more competitive energy than I expected, and plenty of friendly trash talk.

It was a BLAST.

But it was also a chance to step away from the laptops, decompress, and enjoy the people behind all the hard work.

RLM started with me, a laptop, and a whole lot of hope. Today, there are 23 people showing up every day and making this thing go. That number still does not feel real sometimes.

We have grown in more ways than one. We trust each other more. We work better together. We take on bigger challenges. And we still know when it is time to pause and have some fun.

Because culture is not built in meetings. It is built in the in-between moments. The jokes, the conversations, the celebrations, and the memories made together.

Thanks to Idle Hours North for having us, and thank you to this team for making RLM what it is today.

Any Scranton Times Mens’ League bowlers out there who recognize this team sponsor? Youth bowler Ben is sporting his great grandfather’s bowling shirt from the ‘80’s. If only it could talk about the exciting competitive matches it has weathered. I know Ben’s Great Grampa is smiling at him now!
