The Addams Family young@part Tech Crew

Thank you to everyone who signed up to be part of the tech crew for The Addams Family. We are excited to have you involved and look forward to the work we’ll be doing behind the scenes to bring this show to life.

Your first tech rehearsal will be Monday, March 23rd.

Please also make sure you attend the mandatory parent meeting on Monday, March 16th from 6:00–6:30 PM, where we will go over important information for the musical.

Auditions begin this week!

📅 March 3 – 7th & 8th Grade
📅 March 4 – 6th Grade

Audition forms are due by 7th period on your audition day.
If your form is not submitted on time, you will not be allowed to stay after school and you will not be able to audition.

Your audition will include:
-A short dance audition taught by the choreographer (Mrs.Walton)
-An individual singing audition using the music from the audition folder

AUDITION GUIDE- Choose the song that is closest to the character you would like to audition for. If the character that you would like is not listed, you may choose any song.

Audition Dates: All auditions will be from 3:30-5:30
March 3rd – 7th & 8th Grade
March 4th – 6th Grade
March 5th- Callbacks (If needed)

Dance Audition – You will learn a short combination taught by our choreographer. After you will perform in groups to showcase your moves!

Singing Audition – After the dance portion, students will be called into the auditorium one at a time to sing their pre-prepared song using the music provided in the audition folder.

Please wear or bring clothes you are comfortable moving and dancing in.

Come prepared, be focused, and ready to do your best. We are so excited and cannot wait to see the amazing talent we have here at DJH :)
