Today is the day, Studio Families! Costume and pre-order ticket pickup is happening this evening from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the studio.

This is an essential step in getting everyone ready for the stage, so please keep in mind that all outstanding invoices and payments must be settled in full to receive your items. We are so excited to get these beautiful costumes into your hands and watch the final pieces of the show come together. Mark your calendars! Broadway at the Everson is happening June 7th at 3:00 p.m. in the Hosmer Auditorium at the Everson Museum of Art. This musical r***e features our dedicated students in a wonderful afternoon of music and dance.

Can you guess the musical numbers we will be performing next month? For this year's show, we’ve put together a fun variety of individual numbers, so you’ll get to hear a little bit of everything in one big musical r***e. We have a powerful piece from Anastasia, a classic tune from Oklahoma, and a gorgeous song from Les Misérables all in one afternoon.

​We’re even mixing things up with a bit of Shrek and a contemporary dance set to Jagged Little Pill! Keep in mind that these are just a few examples of what to look forward to, and there are plenty of other songs and dances in the lineup that aren't shown here.

​Take a look at the hints in the image and see how many of the featured musicals you can guess because there are quite a few hidden in there. We would love for you to come out and support our hardworking performers at our Broadway at the Everson performance on June 7th at 3:00 p.m.

We are so excited to share our next Senior Spotlight on the wonderful Shayna Nellis!

Shayna has put so many dedicated years into The Dance Arts Studio, and it has been such a joy to watch her grow into the incredible dancer and person she is today. We are incredibly proud of everything she has accomplished and are so grateful her family entrusted us to lead her along her dance journey.

As she prepares to head off to study Sociology, we want to wish her the absolute best of luck in her future! We are certainly going to miss her and all of our seniors as they move on to their next exciting chapters, but we know they are ready for the big stage of life.

We love seeing our current students excited and ready for their big debut!

Our Moments in Motion class for 3 to 5 year olds is such a special starting point where our youngest dancers are introduced to the basics of dance while developing their coordination and rhythm. This class is all about encouraging creative expression and watching these kids gain so much confidence as they learn.

All of that hard work and growth will be on display at Broadway at the Everson on June 7th at 3:00 p.m., and we would love to have our community fill the seats to cheer on every one of our performers. It is a wonderful opportunity to support the local arts and celebrate the incredible dedication these students have shown all year.

As we wrap up preparations for our big year-end performance, we find ourselves reflecting on the incredible dedication of our studio community.

We are so proud of all our families, and we want to extend a special, heartfelt thank you to all the mothers who tirelessly get their children to dance and music classes and support them every step of the way.

Today, we honor not only the incredible moms who work within our studio walls, but also the wonderful mothers who entrust us with their children's artistic education.

To all our studio mothers, we say a big, resounding thank you, and we wish you a wonderful and relaxing day. We encourage all our dancers and singers to take a moment today to truly honor their mothers for everything they do.

Hey studio families! Just wanted to let you know that our Broadway at the Everson limited edition shirts are still available for pre-sale!

We’ve extended the pre-sale deadline to May 8th, so get those orders in soon to make sure you have your shirt in time for the show! These were designed right here at our studio home by our artistic director, She handles custom designs for all kinds of merchandise, and we love getting to highlight the many talents within our own community!

Its a pleasure to spotlight the incredible Aria Apparies as she works her magic with our dancers for our big performance on June 7th!

As a current professional dancer with Syracuse City Ballet, Aria brings an elite level of artistry and energy to our studio that is truly infectious. Her prestigious background, from training at the Rock School for Dance Education to her time with the Boston Ballet, shines through in every single piece she creates.
