Located in north-central Massachusetts, Devens is a stunning 4,400-acre community made up of unique natural resources. The community is home to Big and Little Mirror Lake, the Eskers, and the Black Spruce Bog. Recreational opportunities are endless and activities can keep you busy throughout the year, as residents can use recreation fields and facilities that are also available for tournaments and

competitive play. Preserving open space also remains a priority as Devens continues to prosper with land development.

The Devens Food Truck and Craft Festival 2026 is back on Saturday, June 6, 2026 (rain date 6/7/26) , and it’s shaping up to be an incredible day of food, shopping, music, and community fun!

Join us at Verbeck Field in Devens from 11 a.m. – 5 p.m. for:

As of 3/5/26 the Devens ice rink is currently CLOSED FOR THE SEASON. The Devens ice rink is located at 100 Sherman Avenue in Devens - rink rules can be found here: https://bit.ly/4pc35vF

Devens DPW & Recreation reminds the public to please stay off the Devens ice rink when it is marked “closed.” Using the rink when it is closed, including to shovel, can result in damage to the liner and ice surface and further delay the rink opening. Thank you!

When the weather is cold enough to completely freeze the rink, it will be open to the public from 7 a.m. until 10 p.m. each day. Cost is free and opening is weather dependent. Participants must bring their own skates and are encouraged to check the Devens Recreation page for updated information on openings and closings.
