So here are my Spotify listening stats for the year so far.

There has been SO much great music this year and I have an appreciation for it all. This can make it hard for me to rank and compare projects, but thankfully spotify gives you the objective info, all facts and no opinions, so I can break it down a little better.

Kaytranada came out with Bubba in December 2019, but I have been playing it all thru 2020 so it makes sense that he's my top.

Tame Impala released The Slow Rush in February and that album forced me to dig even deeper into his earlier work from 2010. Hands down one of my favorite artists now, no question.

I discovered the psychedelic rock band Khruangbin this summer and it expanded my world as well. I highly recommend listening to them if you're already a Tame Impala fan. Similar vibe in music.

I'm a little surprised Little Dragon made it to my top, but I'll take it. They released New Me, Same Us in March and I definitely recall playing it a few times over this year.

Of course Freddie still made it in my top, just like he has the last couple of years. Alfredo dropped in May and took over by Storm. It's grammy nominated for Hip-hop album of the year and I'm hopeful and confident that it will win.
