Cruise Night Participants,
The Detroit Grand Prix Cruise Night is happening today, and we have some important information to share prior to your arrival at the event. Please read and take note of the following points.
Prohibited Items

Any violation of these rules, or anything else deemed as dangerous by our volunteers or the Detroit Police Department, will result in the immediate dismissal of the entrant, their vehicle, and all passengers.
When we Meet
The staging area opens at 4:00 PM and will close promptly at 5:30 PM. The staging area with be on E. Jefferson beginning at the intersection of St. Aubon and E. Jefferson. (refer to the attached map) Due to the logistics of this event, please do not arrive early. Detroit Police will be monitoring this intersection. Also, once the staging area closes, we will not be able to allow anyone else into the staging area per the Detroit Police Department.
Upon Entering the Staging Area
Stay in your vehicle until you’re approached by one of our volunteers. A volunteer will insist that every participant (driver and each passenger) MUST sign a waiver upon arrival. Once the waiver is signed, each vehicle will receive a small sticker at the top left (driver side) of the windshield. This will signify to security that the vehicle and all passengers are allowed to track staging once the volunteers begin to wave vehicles in.
VEHICLES WITHOUT STICKERS WILL NOT BE PERMITTED ONTO THE TRACK
Staging and Track Lap
At 5:30 PM, it will be a “Call to your Car”. Participants are asked to move to cars in order to prepare to leave the Staging Area. At “promptly” 5:45pm, all participants must be in their cars and prepared to enter the track. If you are having trouble with your car, please notify a volunteer or a Detroit Police Officer. We have tow trucks standing by. Once we get confirmation that the track is cold, the Detroit Police Department will es**rt vehicles from the staging location and begin the parade lap. During the parade lap, there be no hanging back, accelerating, or “hopping” of vehicles. Follow the designated pace vehicles closely. Any violation of these rules, or anything else deemed as dangerous by our volunteers or the Detroit Police Department, will result in the immediate dismissal of the entrant, their vehicle, and all passengers.
