In Great Expectations (1998), green is not just a color: it’s an emotion. 💚

In Alfonso Cuarón’s adaptation, green surrounds Estella’s world and Finn’s memories, becoming the color of desire, youth, and an idealized love.

Amid the lush landscapes of Florida and dreamlike imagery, green represents what Finn continues to chase: a feeling that seems alive and perfect in his memory, but perhaps never truly existed.

Margot Robbie was only 22 years old when she filmed The Wolf of Wall Street (2013): the role that would ultimately turn her into an international star.

One of the biggest challenges for the young actress was the film’s nudity. For Naomi’s famous seduction scene with Jordan Belfort, director Martin Scorsese reportedly offered Robbie the option of wearing a bathrobe. Robbie, however, felt that wouldn’t make sense for the character and insisted on performing the scene n**e.

“The whole point of Naomi is that her body is her only form of currency in this world,” Robbie explained. “She has to be naked. She’s laying her cards on the table.”

Robbie later admitted that she was “very, very nervous” before filming the scene and drank three shots of tequila in quick succession to calm herself down.

Fans are leaving red balloons on sewer grates in memory of Tim Curry and his unforgettable portrayal of Pennywise in IT.🎈

Following Curry’s death at 80 on August 25, fans have been recreating one of the most iconic images linked to his Pennywise — a bright red balloon drifting above a storm drain.

Curry brought the terrifying clown to life in the 1990 IT miniseries, delivering a performance that frightened an entire generation and became one of the most memorable interpretations of Stephen King’s infamous character.

Today, that haunting image has taken on a much more emotional meaning. Across social media, fans are placing red balloons beside sewer grates as heartfelt tributes to Curry, transforming one of Pennywise’s most recognizable symbols into a touching farewell.
