This was copied from another page and I found it very interesting!!

Let me know what you think...

🦌 The DNR in 2025 described the Northern Lower Peninsula herd as "stable to slighly increasing" for 2025—but I've heard from many who hunt the NLP, especially the mid-NLP counties say they are seeing fewer deer on the ground the past few years.

We want the "boots on the ground" perspective:
What Northern Lower Peninsula county are you hunting? 🌲

Are you seeing MORE or FEWER deer than 5 years ago in the NLP?

Should the DNR cut back on antlerless tags in the NLP, or select counties? 🛑

Let’s hear it in the comments. 👇

Ingredients

10- ounce Diced tomatoes with green chilies undrained
1 pound Ground Beef
½ Yellow Onion diced
1 packet Taco Seasoning
8 ounces Tomato Sauce
2 cups Minute Rice
2 cups Beef Broth
2 cups Mexican Blend Cheese shredded

Instructions

In a large skillet over medium high heat add the ground beef and diced onion. Cook the beef until no pink is visible and then drain off the excess grease.
Add the can of diced tomatoes with green chili, packet of taco seasoning, tomato sauce, minute rice and beef broth. Stir until combined and bring to a simmer. Stir occasionally until the rice has absorbed the broth.
Top with cheese and bake at 350 for 10-15 minutes or until cheese is melted. Serve & enjoy!
Notes
Add taco seasoning after draining so the spices stick to the beef and don’t get washed away.
I always use Minute Rice but any long grain white rice will work. Just be sure to check the package instructions for the correct broth-to-rice ratio and cooking times.
This recipe is not spicy but if you enjoy spice. Use "hot" Rotel tomatoes and taco seasoning.
