Midwest Ethnic Convention for Comics and Arts (MECCAcon) are large comic book, artist, and film conventions held annually in Detroit, MI. Unlike many "comic cons", we don't just focus only on comic books. It consists of both the MECCAcon in September, and the MECCAcon International Film Festival which travels monthly across the United States and abroad via Black Speculative Arts Movement (BSAM). M
