This series features female-identifying characters from mythology, pop culture, and history who's influence and wisdom have shaped our world and the spectrum and perception of femininity. Each character, whether spiritual or historic, has paved the way for women after them and served as a source of inspiration for millions. See who will be figure number 6 in this 20-part series!

Been a while since I've been active on here, but in an effort to connect to a large audience I am slowly returning to the world of a business page.

I am currently working on a colored pencil series where I explore divine feminine character from folklore, mythology, and history. This series is a mix of female-identifying characters who embody the magic of divine feminine wisdom. The first 5 of this eventually 20 piece series feature:

Marie Laveau- Voodoo queen on New Orleans
Oshun- Yoruba goddess associated with water, love, purity, fertility, and sensuality.
Gaia- Greek primordial goddess representative of Mother Earth
Zitkála-Šá- Yankton Dakota writer, musician, translator, educator, and political activist
Freyja- Norse goddess representative of love, fertility, battle, and celebration.

These originals are not for sale *yet*, as I hope to exhibit them as an entire collection someday. However prints will be available soon in the coming weeks on my Facebook and Instagram shops, as well as my website: kaylarenela.com
