One of four tondos by currently on view in his solo exhibition at Louis Buhl & Co.

Rooted in a background in microbiology and a sustained fascination with the human psyche, Brookes’ practice melds meditative optics with molecular interrogation. The tondos explore Heinrich Klüver’s form constants: recurring geometric structures associated with visual hallucinations.

In her textile practice, Wood brings together traditional craft techniques and contemporary technology. Her own image acts as a point of departure for works that explore racial, sexual and gender identity as they relate to the Black femme body.

As a digital native, Wood deftly navigates an internet environment that is at once a space of celebration and recognition for Black femme figures, as well as a politically loaded site for the ongoing marginalisation and exploitation of their selfhood and culture.

A new series of unique works is now available to collect at the link in bio.

Influenced by the bold, gestural marks found in Faygo branding, the works draw from memories of childhood summers, family gatherings, holidays, and the everyday presence of Faygo, whose history is intertwined with Detroit. The title also references the reddish-brown tones used in the figures’ skin, evoking warmth, nostalgia, and the traces of time spent outdoors.

Pequeño’s practice engages themes of displacement, migration, and cultural inheritance, reflecting the complexities of Mestizo and Mexican American identity.

The work featured in 𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝑨𝒈𝒆 𝒐𝒇 𝑹𝒆-𝒆𝒎𝒆𝒓𝒈𝒆𝒏𝒄𝒆 draws on a spectrum of cultural signifiers related to transportation and migration, “where motion is not only physical but psychological and generational.”

Available now! ’s print edition, The Comfort Of!, is now available at Louis Buhl & Co. Collect via the link in bio.

Produced by , The Comfort Of! debuts as an extension of Thomas’s practice and marks the launch of a new limited-edition print publisher, with this piece as its first edition print.

The Comfort Of! was produced alongside 17 new paintings for “Beneath the Moonlight,” a solo presentation of new work by Thomas at the Shepherd. Conceived as a natural complement to the works on view, the edition translates Thomas’s deeply rooted relationship to printmaking into an intimate, collectible format.
