After 11 bloody years our Detroit tradition closes tonight. If you have not seen Evil Dead: The Musical Detroit, TONIGHT is your last chance to "Join Us" FOREVER. You can bet tonight will be the bloodiest night in Evil Dead: The Musical Detroit’s history.

We are beyond thankful for our “die”hard fans, and every single past and present cast and crew member for doing the Necronomicon with us every year. To celebrate our closing we want you our loyal Deadites to post your favorite Evil Dead Detroit memory with us here. The bloodier the better!

As we creep into the last couple weekends of our show, it's time to meet the last new cast member this year!

Natalie Rose Sevick (Cheryl)

1. What character do you play and how would you describe them in one word?
I play Cheryl, Ash's sister. One word I would use to describe her would be mischievous.
2. What did you know about Evil Dead (either the musical or movie before joining the show)? Before being cast in Evil Dead The Musical, I had seen the 313 production twice in its tenure, so I knew what I was getting into. My sister absolutely loved all of the movies, but I had never actually seen them. Upon being cast, we had a sister night, and watched them!
3. What are you afraid of? I have a completely irrational fear of jumping into water. I can walk in just fine, but I won't jump in over my head!
4. Favorite line or part of the show? My favorite part of the show is getting to be ridiculous and over the top. It's so much fun as an actor to go against what you've been taught and create a fantastic world that's as far removed from reality as one can imagine.
5. Why should audiences “JOIN US” for this last year of Evil Dead Detroit? Audiences should JOIN US for the last year of Evil Dead The Musical because it's the last opportunity they'll have to catch this bloody, fun production. The cast and crew are phenomenal, the effects are gory in the best way possible, and you'd be guaranteed a fun-filled night to remember!

You've probably seen our hashtag floating around, but who really are these new cast members bringing our legendary characters to life?

Next up is… Kevin Kaminski (Ed/Moose)

1. What character(s) do you play and how would you describe them in one word?

Ed (Whipped) and the Moose (Inclusive)

2. What did you know about Evil Dead (either the musical or movie before joining the show)? I saw the show at the City theater a couple of times and always loved the blood effects and comedic timing of everything. Happy to join this year!!

3. What are you afraid of? Dying without a legacy. Unexpected illness. Getting the show blood in my eyes/face-planting on stage.

4. Favorite line or part of the show? “You mean you believe this psycho and his hoo-ha jibber jabber?”

5. Why should audiences “JOIN US” for this last year of Evil Dead Detroit? It’s the last year. We’re going out in bloody glory. We’re staying true to audience expectations, but we’re bringing our own new fun, excitement, and surprises with us this year.

What the F@#k Was That?

Detroit’s Theatre scene will again explode in the Fall of 2019 with Evil Dead The Musical... the musical with a bloody, gory splatter zone.

This sexy, campy spoof of Sam Raimi’s Evil Dead movies is a Detroit tradition and one of the craziest theatrical experiences around. It’s a classic story, five college students go to an abandoned cabin in the woods, unleash an evil force that turns them all into demons. Ash, our main man, the hero if you will armed with his chainsaw battles demons, hurls show tunes, and tangos his way back to S-Mart. With titles like "All the Men in My Life Keep Getting Killed by Candarian Demons" and "What the F*@k was That" you don't need to be a fan of Evil Dead the movies to love this show. You don't need to be a fan of horror to love this show. You don't even need to be a fan of musicals to love this show.

As long as you like having fun... this show is for you.
