Our director, Founder, and Owner, Sharon Freed-Moreland comes from a highly trained professional background from training with greats such as, Katherine Dunham, Arthur Mitchell, Alvin Ailey dance school, Interlochen, etc...Mrs. Freed-Moreland has traveled, and toured with the Queen of Soul Ms. Aret

ha Franklin as her Dancer, Ballet Mistress, and Choreographer. Our Director has her Masters Degrees in Mathematics and Dance education. She values education and the art of dance. She is very passionate about dance.


3D Dance Academy has been featured on all major local media outlets such as Fox2, channel 7 and channel 4. 3D Dance academy provides great opportunities for dancers. Featured on many platforms such as a TV show called Dance Battle Detroit channel 38 WADL, winning first place. Annual performances for the NBA Pistons games. Thanksgiving Half-time performance for the NFL Lions. Soul Circus and more etc...They provide an awesome summer camp which offers free breakfast and lunch and tutoring services. They provide all levels of dance techniques and we also have a competitions teams and a performing company. We invite anyone who wants to take dance classes or be part of a dance school/company/competitive team to come sign up. We are friendly, welcoming, and would love to have you join our dance family. 🏆✨ Congratulations to our incredible Competition Team on bringing home 1st Place, 1st place champions✨🏆

Our dancers did an outstanding job showcasing strong technique, charisma, confidence, and amazing character work on stage. Every rehearsal, every correction, and every moment of hard work paid off beautifully, and we could not be more proud.

Special congratulations to the choreographers, Victoria Borjas-Singleton and our Director, Sharon Freed-Moreland, for their vision, creativity, and dedication in helping bring this performance to life.

At 3D Dance Academy, we believe in building more than dancers. We build discipline, confidence, teamwork, performance quality, and unforgettable experiences.

Now it’s time to shift gears and prepare for our highly anticipated Spring Concert… and then straight into an exciting Summer Camp season! 💫

What a powerful weekend.

Honored to be part of an incredible event experience, working as choreographer and providing a team of dancers who delivered with professionalism, energy, and excellence.

It was a privilege contributing creatively to a stage shared with with Raven-Symoné hosting and a special performance by the legendary Jennifer Holliday.

Grateful for the opportunity to do what I love at this level, and proud of the dancers who showed up and executed beautifully.
