Signature Audio originally started in 2014 under the name J&D Productions. It started out with 2 friends, Josh and Dan, who wanted to create a business that allowed them to work with their passion for music. In their time together, they have booked tons of shows, provided sound and lighting for many bands, and had a great time doing it.
As time went on, Dan got more serious in perusing sound engineering at a few venues in the Detroit area. The direction of the business was starting to take a turn from what we originally had planned so Josh and Dan decided to part ways as a company, while still continuing to be great friends!
Dan decided to change the name of the company to Signature Audio since the name J&D Productions did not really fit what the company was going for and it is only represented by himself now. The company now offering services including sound reinforcement and lighting, sound engineering for any event, event DJ services, speaker rental, and lighting rental
