She discovered her artistic abilities at a young age and has expressed it everyday since. Some of the courses she took are, drawing, painting, jewelry, pottery and photography. She went even further into her obsession by learning wood working and welding so she could make sculptures out of different materials. This is a good example of Amber's work because she is always taking her art to a higher
level. Her favorite medium currently is painting. She was nicknamed “Shock & Awe” because its the way you feel when you see how she pieces. Her art is typically acrylic on canvas and her finished products could be described as abstract, psychedelic, and colorful. Amber has worked mostly out of Detroit, Ferndale and Kalamazoo in Michigan. She has done a few big music festivals such as, Chill on the Hill, Mopop, and Leeway Music Festival. She sells most of her work at shows and has estimated selling 30 pieces since her art career started in 2012. Amber's goals as an artist are to created large scale art installations, paint murals, and vend her artwork at music festivals. She is also going to take more art classes and network to create more shows for herself. She is currently learning how to paint professionally, video editing/recording, and 3D animation. She studies at Washtenaw Community college in Ann Arbor but will be transferring to the University of Michigan in 2018.
