🎤 Are you ready to defy gravity? 🫧✨

In celebration of our upcoming Wicked charity event, we’re searching for one wickedly talented singer to take the stage at the Redford Theatre! 💚🩷

Think you’ve got what it takes? Record a video of yourself performing a song from Wicked OR another song with a wicked/scary theme and send it to [email protected]. Videos must be under 2 minutes and include your name, phone number and email address with your submission.

👑 One winner will be selected, announced and CROWNED at the event on Saturday, September 12!

Submissions are open now through midnight on September 5, 2026, so warm up those vocal cords and show us what you’ve got! 🎶

Your pal the Redford is back with another jam-packed weekend of cinematic adventures! 🎬

We’re kicking tonight off with ✨ Stand By Me ✨, a coming-of-age drama written by Stephen King and directed by the late, great Rob Reiner.

Saturday afternoon, we head into the whimsical world of 🍫 W***y Wonka and the Chocolate Factory. It stars Gene Wilder in what is arguably his most memorable role. This show will have a pop-up shop in the lobby starting at 1pm featuring Femme Gems! 💎

Saturday night, we’ll join Leonardo DiCaprio in Catch Me If You Can 🏃💨 as he portrays Frank Abagnale—a charming con man who stays one step ahead of the FBI as he assumes a string of false identities. This screening will be in glorious 35mm!

And last but certainly not least—a special Sunday screening of Steel Magnolias in memory of Dolly Parton. 🦋 We pay tribute to America’s sweetheart with this film centered on the lives of a tight-knit group of women in Louisiana.

🦋 What can we say that hasn’t already been said? Dolly Parton was a national treasure who will be sorely missed by everyone at the Redford Theatre. To celebrate her life, work and legacy of generosity, we’re screening Steel Magnolias this Sunday, August 30 at 2pm.

Parton stars alongside Julia Roberts and Sally Field as Truvy Jones, a warm and big-hearted owner of the local beauty salon. It’s just one of her many magnificent roles that stole our hearts on the silver screen.

Ah, well, he did it better anyway. Catch Leo DiCaprio as Abagnale in this now 23 year-old movie. 👀 It’ll be presented in 35mm film this Saturday night!
