Join us for 's first workshop of the season!

In this hands-on workshop, lead by Amara Murphy real leaves, flowers, and stems picked fresh from the garden will be used to make beautiful blue-and-white prints. Analog form of photography known as cyanotype will be used — no experience or camera needed, just curiosity!

This is a family-friendly event – children, parents, grandparents, and friends are all welcome. RSVP required on Amend's page!

Since 1995, has nurtured the literary and academic growth of Detroit’s students through impactful creative writing programs and performances. We’re excited to welcome InsideOut to the Cadillac Arts Centre this summer. Having served students in and around the East Village for decades, their relocation from Midtown marks an exciting opportunity to further strengthen community connections and expand their creative impact.

“InsideOut Literary Arts is known across the City as a catalyst for creativity and an amplifier of youth voice through the power of the written and spoken word,” says Suma Karaman Rosen, Executive Director of InsideOut. “This move affirms our commitment to the schools and neighborhoods we serve, Detroit’s arts and culture landscape, and our role as a champion for authentic expression. Having just celebrated our 30th anniversary, the timing couldn’t be better — we’re very excited about this new home for our next chapter.”
