A Space for Creatives!
Studio P (Studio Purpose)
In Metro-Detroit, Indie film-making, theatrical and entertainment productions are on the rise. While that is a wonderful news, resources can be scarce and costly. Creatives struggle to find local actors and crew, casting call and rehearsal space and filming locations. That’s exactly why Studio P was created. A space strictly for creatives to meet, gather, support and CREATE!
A stones throw away from the Detroit River, The Aretha and right next to the Dequindre Cut is nestled a little slice of creative heaven. Studio P is not one thing, it's everything! An intimate space where your purpose can take shape. 1300 square feet, 14 foot high ceilings, exposed brick and an open mezzanine in a prime location. This eclectic space can be used to film multiple scenes in a movie, a weekly rehearsal space, photography session, casting call, meeting and all points in between. If you can dream it, Studio P can host it! Our flexible floor plan gives you the option to set the space up in any way that fits your event or production needs. Studio P is also building a database of talent from actors to backstage. A true gem and a much needed space for the emerging creatives in Metro-Detroit.
