Two years ago today, Alexis, Maurizio and I officially incorporated and formed Break The Chain Theatre Company!
In year 2, we produced our first BTC One Act Play Festival and our first full production The R and J Project, along with our first hybrid in-person and livestreamed production As You Drink It!
As always, we are continuing to strive to make BTC a company built on the creation of new work and community service; and this year our friends at Theatrica Gladiatoria gave us an awesome opportunity to collaborate on their "Fighting for Inclusion" initiative which helped bring artists in need to their Mitten Mayhem event to learn stage combat from SAFD-certified teachers.
We are looking forward to stepping into the future in ways that we are not able to reveal right now, but we can't wait to share our next adventures with you in year 3.
Thank you to every actor, playwright, director, volunteer, board member, and audience member who has contributed to our growth. Our BTC family keeps getting bigger, and we can't wait to see how we continue to grow in year 3!
