I LOVE choreographing and teaching tap. This is Gabbi. Last fall, I left work on a Friday, flew to Chicago, then drove 3 hours to Kalamazoo MI and spent two days working with her and building her a solo. Then, I drove back to Chicago and got on a plane back to Phoenix and went to work on Monday morning! Gabbi did a great job and I challenged her with some tough steps too! Flash forward to yesterday… I get this text from her mom…. “Hello there! Just wanted to let you know we are at showstoppers in Battle Creek, Michigan. Gabbi is 15 now so she is in the senior division for the first time. She is competing in the competitive level. She just got her first ever Double Platinum for a solo with your tap dance. 🤩 Thank you so much! She has never been happier at a dance competition than she is right now.”... You GUYS!!! This made my heart swell two sizes! I love, love, love creating dances and am so happy to see Gabbi’s progress! Ok, I’m done gushing for now. I’m already booking for choreo for next year. Life is good!!
