I'm still undecided if I want this original to be for sale or not. It's my first non-commissioned piece in a while and has a whole lot of my soul in it. ⚔️
I will be getting prints of this picture only soon with 25 copies, five of them being framed.
Huginn and Muninn are the messengers of the all father Odin, Huginn symbolizes memory while Muninn represents thought. Soaring through Midgard they watch over the beings traversing the realm.
Ratatoskr gnawing at the roots of Yggdrasil, forever representing the destruction needed to bring new life in. He ferries insults between two beasts, two dualities, two powers. A messenger of the unavoidable; death. The goal is to get these two opposites to destroy what this little creature can't, so he spends his time aggravating each other.
The message is always in the eyes of the beholder. If you ask me, your faith is what carries you in each moment of your journey. There are dualities at every corner and turn. Many options and choices are to be made each day. There are powers greater than what we fathom, if you trust in it you will find trusting yourself much easier because you are a part of this. Your discipline and intentions can manifest either growth or destruction inside the structure of yourself. These messengers can be heard throughout your being but it is ultimately your choice to move with the thoughts, memories and ambitions.
This stream also reminds me of the very spiritual experience I had in Nova Scotia, whilst sending my words to Freya and Thor, suddenly in the stream id been sitting in appeared a bison molar sitting next to a red jade stone. The sky opened up and the sheep on the hillside started baaing at the sun. Those were gifts to my heart because it represented a very personal moment for myself and what I believe. In the land of my ancestors, these old gods spoke to me in unworldly ways. I will forever hold onto this moment.

The nine realms
A commission piece that took me months to finish but the work is done for this portal. I loved creating this representation of the great tree of life, reaching into this space hit my viking blood motivating me for this year of the dragon 🐉
Or is it the year of Jormungandr....😱

Got myself a new phone so I can finally take quality photos and professional content of my paintings and dreamcatchers. Here is a short fun teaser I did of one of my recent paintings. I'm excited to get back into things it's been far too long since I had the time or energy to create like I used to. So much catching up to do so many ideas brewing 🪄🖌️🎨

Did a quick 5x6 mural on the side of my friend's garage. First time painting on wood this extensively, it was so fun creating a little Oasis and getting to paint outside on those last summer days. 😊

"Melancholy"
Electrically charged sadness, a feeling I as well as many experience throughout their lives sometimes for no reason at all, sometimes too many to grasp. The birds in flight show movement, which can be the saving grace from this feeling and turn it into a strange peace. Knowing this too shall pass, like all our storms, may we hold fast through them and never forget that movement can help make that erie feeling pass.

It's been awhile... I've been focusing myself more towards my dream on becoming a soil science lab technician/permaculture designer, along with other aspects that life throws. I finally feel I have the time and space to start painting again.
