Tourist in my own city I started “Tourist in my own city” to highlight things that have been here that sometimes get overlooked.

Being a lifelong Detroiter I’m surprised at how many “new” things I’ve never seen that have been here longer than me.

Last night’s Slow Roll was 🔥 through Southwest Detroit! 🚲🌆
We cruised deep into the heart of Southwest Detroit — soaked in the murals, the culture, the music, and that neighborhood love 🇲🇽🎨💃

The energy was unreal. Great people, smooth streets, and all-around good vibes 💛🖤
We rolled 8+ miles at a chill pace and kept it safe — helmets on 🪖 and hydration in hand 💧

My favorite aspect of working at a bike shop is collaborating with exceptional people, such as those from We Bike Detroit, who consistently demonstrate a passion for cycling and camaraderie. Their group rides are well-organized and fun. I look forward to supporting their events throughout this season.
