RISE Movement wrapped up their competition season at one of our favorite places, 🧡 It’s always such an inspirational weekend, filled with great classes and stage time! We’re so grateful for the experiences and moments that this team shared throughout the season and are so proud of each and every one of them. It was a great honor to take home the “Shaffer Studio Award”, awarded to a studio that shows professionalism and sportsmanship! We couldn’t do it without our teachers, choreographers, and families supporting us every stop of the way!

“Spare Change”- High First adjudication, “DanceAgain” Award, 5th place senior group

“Block Party”- First adjudication, 1st place senior hip hop extended line, 1st place senior extended line

“For Frida”- First adjudication

“Where the Streets Have No Name”- First adjudication, 1st place teen contemporary production, 1st place teen production

“Femme Fatale”- First adjudication

“She”- First adjudication, 1st place senior contemporary line, 3rd place senior line

Finley, a RISE Movement founding member, has been dancing and competing with Rise for nine years! The memories and laughter that she has brought to our team through the years is irreplaceable and will hold such a special place in our company and studio. To say we’re proud is an understatement and we can’t wait to continue supporting all her future endeavors! ❤️

RISE Movement took on a PACKED weekend of competition and classes in ATL and absolutely rocked it! We’re leaving with so much inspiration after witnessing all the incredible studios and faculty! Thank you for a wonderful experience! Next up, our last competition of the season!

Art of Movement 2024 💙✨

RISE Movement had a fantastic competition/convention weekend in Mobile! We’re so proud of the growth and passion we saw on stage! We also loved seeing so many studio friends and witnessing all their amazing talent! A big thanks to for the great classes and competition!

Here are the highlights:

“Block Party”- True Artist

“Where The Streets Have No Name”-True Artist

“She”- Platinum, 4th place teen large group

“Femme Fatale”- True Artist, 2nd place teen large group

“For Frida”- True Artist, 2nd place senior small group, 13 & up choreography award

“Spare Change”- Platinum, 6th place senior small group

“People Need A Melody”- Platinum

“Bons Temps Rouler”- High Gold

Our soloists received High Gold, Platinum, and True Artist adjudications! Caroline Stanford received a True Artist and was the 6th overall senior soloist. Avery Brannon received a Platinum and was the 13th overall teen soloist. Kinsley Taylor received a Platinum and was the 8th overall teen soloist.

Scholarships:
Mylie Kuennen and Finley Smith were senior scholarship finalists and both received $100 off their next convention! Caroline Stanford, Elsa McCann, and Caden Moreland won class scholarships for their great work in convention!

RISE Movement kicked off their first competition/convention of the season and it was a blast! We’re so proud of our dancers for their hard work and passion in class and on the stage.

Our soloists (including many first time soloists) received various High Gold and Platinum adjudications! Mylie Kuennen received an Outstanding Staging award for her piece “Under Pressure”.
