Last night was the first Varsity home game in D-town. The DHS Dragon Line looked great on the field and sidelines. We have four competition team dancers on the DHS Dragonline this season. I was excited to be off early enough to catch their routine. They had team members show up to support them too. Our Band girls did awesome as well, next time I will grab a photo with them. Love seeing our BDS dancers out sharing their talent and hard work. 🎉🎉

Flashback Friday. At Dupree this spring, Emma received a scholarship to attend Tap On Location in Chicago this summer. This program is presented by Meghan Way Stinson. Meghan is a huge tap influencer in the dance industry. "Tap on Location connects dancers from all around for 4 unforgettable days of tap dance & fun. Make a pro-level dance video together. Learn to shine on camera. Make new friends!" Amara and I joined Emma in Chicago for the event. It was an amazing weekend of tap! Emma did great representing BDS and her tap Mentor Miss Kiersten. Here are a few photos from her experience. I will also share some videos when released throughout the season.

Next week starts a new month of dance. It is not too late join one of our combo classes. In ballet class dancers learn steps step that focus on technique and growth for their age. Jazz class gives the dancer the opportunity to build confidence while learning and having fun. Tap helps dancers with timing and rhythms. We have openings in the following combo classes. Message the studio and join us in Sept.
