Haven't posted here in far too long. I do have some new pieces coming, look for them in the near future.
I saw a lot of discussion online about T.rex skin impressions article, here are my thoughts for what they are worth-
I never bought into the reconstructions of T.rex with feathers like the Safari one for example. I understand the argument not being bullheaded about it. I guess I look at
making a feathered T.rex like the Safari one, based on extrapolating from feathered relatives of T.rex ,without any physical proof in fossils, it is to me the same as if one were to make the assumption that all elephants are/were covered in shaggy fur just because there is preserved evidence of such in wooly mammoth. I know this is simplifying the argument but basically that sums up my take on it not being a scientist I own up to my limitations. But those who dismiss artists who show scaled T.rexes as being outdated arent being fair to those who dont buy into a reconstruction like the Safari one which they should be able to admit is pure speculation at this point.
