Thank you EVERYONE for your continued participation, attendance, and support! 🙌🐠

Just one week ago, we kicked off the season with a fantastic late-summer swap at our beloved Ankeny location—and now it’s time to jump into some serious planning and preparation. 🛠️✨

Our next 5 events will all be held at the Iowa State Fairgrounds (Elwell Family Food Center) 🏛️📍, featuring plenty of space for new and returning vendors, along with exciting new attractions! 🎟️🌿

Tick Tock ⏰️ Tick Tick
5 short days until the parking lot is over flowing at Des Moines Fish Swap, Sept. 13th 2026 with passionate fish keepers and curious minds. All waiting to see what is being brought by our wonderful vendors from Iowa and the surrounding States!

Ill stand corrected, but I believe The Fish Guy will be traveling the furthest, ~8 hours, all the way from Grand Island, Nebraska. He'll be bringing some of the nicest locally bred fish from his collection. His fish go quick in the season, so this event will be the best chance to see what he has.

Cluckin' Shrimp & Aquatics will be vending back to back this weekend and will likely need an energy drink or two. I'll let them comment their favorite and see if we can help support them!

Pure Tropicals has great deals on bulk fish food, aquarium heaters, and a nice selection of fish. Lucky for Ryan, he probably has the shortest drive, living right here in Ankeny.
