Entry deadline is quickly approaching!! Entries are done on line this year making it an easy process!! You will need to log in and create a username and password. Once you do this, find the Draft Horse Division- Belgian/Shire. Once all your entries have been entered, you will put in a credit card to pay your entry fees. You will need to email or fax copies of your registration papers to the fair no later than one week after deadline. If you need any help doing this or making entries, please feel free to call Lisa at 815-471-4711, she will be happy to walk you through the process or do the entries for you. We are looking forward to a great turnout of friends and shires, join us in Des Moines for the National Shire show 2021!

Entries are open for the Iowa State Fair horse show and we are again hosting the National Shire and National Clydesdale shows! All entries must be submitted online this year and they close July 1 (with late entries accepted afterward). Let's get some horses in the ring again!! Let us know if you have any questions.

Horses may start arriving on Friday, August 13th and must be in in place by Saturday evening. Our 1st class will be Sunday, August 15th at 6 pm.

**A Note From The Iowa State Fair-Home Of The 2020 National Shire Show. A reminder entries are due July 1st, but late entries will be accepted into August with a fee.

Dear Fair Friends,
These are certainly unprecedented and unpredictable times and I hope you are staying safe and healthy. I wanted you to know that even in times like these, we continue to move ahead with preparations for the 2020 Iowa State Fair. We are working hard to make it the best one yet and believe in these uncertain times, people will need the tradition and family friendly entertainment options available at the Fair. Although, we may implement some changes related to COVID-19 protocols, we are looking forward to the Fair, August 13-23, 2020. Like many other businesses, our staff are working remotely, but we are still available to answer any questions or provide support at any time.
