Jeff won’t toot his own horn, that’s why I manage his social media accounts.

Susie, Jeff’s wife here, and I’m so excited about Mainframe Studios upcoming First Friday open house. The exhibit theme is Nostalgia, which Jeff and Jody Valentine juried and curated. I have yet to see it in person, but cannot wait. I know my man, along with Jody picked the best of the best to be showcased.

I shouldn’t have to brag but I will, Jeff brings an array of credentials to make any art show pop! Two BAs in art, a Masters in fine art, years teaching at the and privately, multiple Best of Show winner from several exhibitions, including first place awards. In fact he was Jody’s teacher for over 20 years. Jody herself continued growing and learning as an artist, and brings an exceptional eye with her 25+ years of painting excellence.

Join us this coming Friday, June 5th, from 5 to 8p. Curated exhibits are on 1st and 4th floors, with Jody and Jeff’s own exhibit on the 2nd floor (photo by Jody Valentine).

She tried. She tried really hard.

Can you see the moving dots, in the painting titled Fear of Optical Illusions (part IV from the PHOBIAS series)? Jeff, Anthony, and I could, but Elise just couldn’t.

Hypnogogic Hallucinations found its new home, but it’s not headed there quite yet.

You’ll have a chance to see it one more time during the Mainframe Studios Nostalgia Exhibit next month during June’s First Friday. Cool enough Jody Valentine and Jeff Rider ART are curating the show, AND collaborated on this painting, too.
