The Pointe Academy of Ballet & Contemporary Dance offers premier ballet and dance classes to all ages in West Des Moines, IA. We offer serious and enjoyable dance classes for the whole family, without the interruption and expense of a recital. Our students have the opportunity to study with teachers who have had professional dance careers and whose teaching philosophy dictates upbeat, constructive

instruction. At our school, we focus on the pleasure of participation and the discipline inherent in dance. We believe in creating opportunities with vision, artistry, and excellence - one dancer at a time. New students are always welcome and we offer classes for adults as well as children. Traditionally a ballet school, we also offer a few tap, jazz, and modern dance classes as well as adult fitness and conditioning classes. Our goal is to have every student awaken the dancer within, set a goal, and develop meaningful skill sets that will remain with them throughout his or her life.
