I'm a big supporter of the local Iowa live music scene (well, let's be honest....ALL music scenes!), and in the past, I've represented bands as a booking manager, and I've been the booking manager for a couple of venues. For right now, I'm focused on my role as Entertainment Director for the IMT Des Moines Marathon, my role as the Vendor Coordinator for
Hinterland Music Festival, my college work, my full-time job, and most importantly, living and enjoying my life. I hope you do the same!

The Journey of MusicMama Entertainment...

I'm a big supporter of the local-Iowa live-music scene (well, let's be honest....ALL music scenes!). In the past, I've represented bands as a booking manager, and I've been the booking manager for a couple of venues. My oldest son is in three local bands, and he teaches guitar and bass at Uptempo Music in Beaverdale. I’ve been the Entertainment Director for the IMT Des Moines Marathon for 13 years, and for the last two years I’ve enjoyed my new role as the Vendor Coordinator for Hinterland Music Festival. I’m immersed in our local music scene, and loving every minute!

Now, my journey has taken me on a new turn, and it’s one that I’m very excited about! MusicMama Entertainment is joining forces with Global Scope Booking Agency, and the possibilities are endless! To start, I’m booking the local music guest for the weekly Marcus Mcintosh Podcast, recorded in the beautiful Urbandale Chamber of Commerce every Friday morning, and posted on www.podbean.com and on the www.facebook.com/marcusmcintoshpodcast page every Monday. We have a variety of guests, so the conversations are interesting, educational and entertaining. The vibe is amazing, and I hope you’ll take a listen or get involved in whatever way makes sense for you!
