Coming back from my hiatus means being more active on this page now 🥰

Note: this is a call for Iowa performers only!

Iowa performers! and I have been working hard on the mechanics of Burlesque the trading card game! We have gotten a lot of people who have submitted their information, but would like to see as many as want to be in the first run to be able to! If you are interested, there is no cost to have your card in the game, but we will run a pre order for decks when we have numbers settled. While we don't have a due date yet, the faster that we get all of this information gathered, the faster that we can get these producing, please fill out this form at your earliest convenience if you want to be in the deck!

* I know I have friends from all over the country, currently this project is limited to Iowa only. Our larger hope is to have a template for the game available for other states and areas to purchase and make their own or commission add-on packs with area specific performers!

Run-Thru/Tech Call: 6:00pm
No Run-Thru/Tech Call: 6:30pm
Doors: 7:00pm
Show: 8:00pm
Location: xBk Live 1159 24th St, Des Moines, IA 50311

Pay: $50 or cut of door (whichever is greater), plus individual tips. Travel stipend may be available based on distance. Payment will be sent to performers and kittens via Venmo, PayPal, or CashApp, and after payment from the venue is processed, which may take up to 2 weeks after the show.

Apps close Sunday, January 12th and offers sent by Sunday the 19th at the latest!

Hiii! I've posted this in a couple places, sent some DMs, and am still doing this research! Please share it with your burly communities if you're comfortable!

Hi! My (stage) name is Eden Draconis and I am an Iowa-based burlesque performer and producer. I have been performing for 5 years and producing for about 4 years. I've had the fortune and pleasure to perform across the midwest and even at some conventions.

Outside of burlesque, I'm a fulltime advocate for survivors, victims, and experiencers of sexual assault, domestic violence, human trafficking, and other gender based violence, primarily in Asian and Pacific Islander communities.

I have the honor and privilege to talk about burlesque at the National Symposium on Sexual Assault and Communities of Color, and want to get real data and insight from burlesque performers, producers, and communities. The survey I am posting has the ability to be completely anonymous and almost every question has a “prefer not to answer” option. My goal is not to re-traumatize anyone who would like to participate in the survey, but to get relevant data to present.
