It is with great sadness I’m announcing the closing of Professor Bellows photos at Adventureland park.
I would like to thank all of our loyal customers who have made us your family tradition for 48 years. I would also like to say thank you to the Krantz family for their loyalty and their vision in bringing this quality venue to Des Moines.
Most of all I would like to say Thank you to the hundreds of hard working employees that I have had the pleasure of working with this past 48 years. they have been your brothers, sisters, nieces, nephew, friends and neighbors. They are the heart and soul of Professor Bellows photos and I will miss them dearly. Above all remember to keep a smile on your face and a song in your heart.

Creating Family Memories Since 1974

Professor Bellows Photographics has been a leader in Old Time Photography and Event Photographs since our start at the World’s Fair in 1974. We opened our Old Time Studio at Adventureland Park in 1975. In the years following, we expanded into Front Gate and Ride Photography, providing lasting memories on the Tornado, Log Ride, and Monster, as well as of families as they enter the park.

We are pleased to be celebrating our 45th year of creating family memories. For many, our photos have become a tradition. It is our sincere wish to produce a quality portrait and a memorable experience for our guests. Thank you for joining us in creating a lasting memory we can all be proud of.
