mention that my family owns and operates a carnival here in Iowa. From clown heads, I moved onto fun houses and then started doing airbrush tattoos for kids and their families during fair season. My husband and I, along with our 3 daughters, started playing hockey a few years ago and my husband suggested that I give a go at trying to paint Goalie Helmets. I had some amazing people volunteer their helmets for me to practice on and I have learned so much and have become very passionate with this specialized style of painting. Here is the latest mask I have completed. This one may look familiar to those who have been around for a while. I had actually painted this helmet a few years ago and it came back to me needing some repairs. I ended up sanding down the whole helmet and repainting the design but I think it turned out better the second time around.

I am so happy with how this one turned out, especially the St Michael fighting the demon. The other side is based on a famous bomber plane from WWII. I would like to point out that they would add a sw****ka for each German plane they shot down.

I tried to really take my time and be as detailed as I could with this one and I am so happy to be able to bring my clients vision to life.

Hey everyone! Here is a video from a helmet I did last year for one of the Des Moines Buccaneers goalies.

I figured while I am still on maternity leave, this would be a good time to try to post as many photos and videos from the past year that I hadn't had a chance to yet.

I tried to video the whole process of doing a helmet from start to finish which ended up being roughly 60 hours of filming. I am new to the whole making videos/editing and hopefully I get better.😅 This section of the mask was around 4 hours of painting and I condensed it down to 5 minutes and 20 seconds. This was sent to me a while ago but I never had a chance to post it! The customer wanted a Carolina Hurricanes mask with details specifically for one of their goalies, Pyotr Kochetkov, with the PK on the chin and his quote "NO TOUCH MY GUYS" on the side. After receiving the helmet, he sent me this video. He actually got it signed by Pyotr Kochetkov! It was so incredibly amazing to see one of my custom paint jobs to not only be signed by an NHL goalie but the fact that he didn't want to sign it because he liked it, is such an undescribable feeling.
