The Anderson Gallery is located in the Harmon Fine Arts Center, on the corner of 25th and Carpenter Avenue, on the campus of Drake University.

Join us for an Artist Conversation with Tom Jones this Sunday! Artist Tom Jones will discuss his work and practice with (Not) At Home exhibition curator Lilah Anderson on Sunday, October 18 from 2-3 pm in the Harmon Fine Arts Center, Room 336. The talk is free and open to all and parking is available on 25th Street.

This talk is offered on the final day of the exhibition (Not) At Home, which includes Jones’ work alongside four other artists. The Anderson Gallery will be open before and after the talk from 12-4pm to visit the exhibition. Talk generously sponsored by an anonymous donor.

We are looking forward to hosting artist Sean Morrissey this week! Sean P. Morrissey will lead a pochoir (think hand-colored stencil printing) workshop this Friday from 1-3 pm. Registration is required on Eventbrite. Link in bio. Morrissey’s work is part of the current exhibition (Not) At Home on display through Oct 18.

Join us this Thursday Sept 17 for an artist talk with Katie Garth from 2-3pm in FAC 336! Garth will discuss her path as an artist and her practice. The talk is free and open to all. Garth’s work is currently on display in the Anderson Gallery as part of the exhibition (Not) At Home.

What a wonderful start to the exhibition (Not) At Home! The opening was so busy we almost forgot to take any photos. Thanks to all who came out. Lois Harada’s Letterpress workshop was also wonderful and provided students and community members a chance to make prints thanks to a generous donor. Check our website for upcoming events and open hours of the show.

Artist Lois Harada Lois will be on campus this Friday to lead a letterpress workshop. The workshop will be held from 1-3pm in Carnegie Hall letterpress studio. Free for students thanks to a generous donor. Community members are also welcome to attend for a fee. All must register in advance. Link in bio for details and to sign up!

Harada’s work can be seen in the exhibition (Not) At Home on display in the Anderson Gallery from Sept 11-Oct 18.

We had a wonderful closing reception for Kunstkammer on Friday! Congrats to Berkeley Coyne, Sophie Ernst, Ava Hess, Adalee Miller and Jordan Wyer on their BFA thesis exhibition. And a happy Drake graduation to all Bulldogs!
