A Creature Concept for FASA's coming "Creatures of the Gruv".
The Moguwana. These are small reptiles with several avian features. They have the mouth and eyes of a lizard, but the eyes themselves are large like an owls, with pupils that can dilate greatly, allowing the creature to see extremely well in the dark, and makes it quite
endearing.
Their hides are mostly bright colored scales with plumes of feathers around the neck, also consisting of many beautiful colors. A Mogu is comparable in size to that of a small dog, like a west highland terrier. Their tails match the length of their torso, and their heads are roughly oval shaped.

Another Creature Concept for FASA's upcoming "Creatures of the Gruv. The Sobekkan.
Appearing at first quite similar to a crocodile, Sobekkans
lay in shallow, murky water, only the tops of their heads
showing above the surface and looking similar to a piece
of drift wood. Just as with regular crocodiles, it is an
ambush predator. When it moves to attack, however, it
reveals its full nature, like a horrific mutation.
Sobekkans have a pair of long, muscular forelimbs,
functioning like a combination of legs and arms. When it
moves to attack, it “stands” from the ground, finding
footing even in loose mud and sand with wide hand-like
appendages with far too many fingers, acting like the
webbing of most water fowl.

Ive always loved dinosaurs. Since I was a kid. So when I read the brief for the latest FASA creature concept; I was thrilled. Combine a Pachycephalosaurus with a Velociraptor. Oh sure. The first drawing for 2026. How'd I do?
