Do you or someone you know need a little extra help putting food on the table?
There are a lot of misconceptions out there about the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), but here is the real truth:

SNAP is for everyone – It is open to any eligible individual or family, no matter your household size.

There is enough for all – Receiving SNAP benefits does not take away food assistance from anyone else who needs it.

Working families qualify – You can have a job and still qualify if your income falls within the guidelines.

It’s always worth applying – Benefit amounts are calculated individually. You won't know what you're eligible for until you try!

Don't let myths stand in the way of getting the nutritious food you deserve.

Here comes this year’s Homegrown Farmers Market!
Get ready to fill your bags with the freshest local produce, handmade crafts, and mouth-watering baked goods. Check out live music, featured nonprofits, and so much more. Whether you're hunting for the perfect heirloom tomato, a jar of local honey, or just want to catch up with neighbors under the sun, this season's farmers' market is going to be amazing! Remember, the Farmers' Market will be every Wednesday from 3 PM to 7 PM starting June 3rd through September 30th. Be sure not to miss it!

It's that time again, Derry! It's Touch a Truck 2026!
Come on down Saturday, June 6th | 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM to West Running Brook Middle School
The Town is celebrating 10 YEARS of this great family event! It is a great opportunity for a day of hands-on fun where children can explore, climb, and touch big rigs, heavy machinery, and emergency vehicles.
There will also be a BMX Stunt show, food festivities, music, and more.

Have Sensative Ears?
The event organizers want everyone to enjoy the fun. There will be a Horn & Siren-Free window from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM—perfect for children who prefer a quieter environment.

Spread the word, tag your friends, and head out to celebrate a decade of Touch-a-Truck in Derry!

Here in New Hampshire, cooking remains one of the top two leading causes of home fires, with departments reporting they responded to nearly 400 annually between 2018 and 2022. 𝐌𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐃𝐚𝐲 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐞: 𝐑𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐞 & 𝐃𝐞𝐭𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐈𝐧𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧

Heading to the Memorial Day Parade? Here is what you need to know about road closures and detours!

Starting around 10:00 AM road closures will begin. Crystal Ave (from Hood Commons to the Downtown Lights) will be closed for the parade. East Broadway from the Downtown Lights to Fenway St. will be closed to all traffic. Please try and avoid the downtown lights until the parade has ended.

Directly after the parade, a ceremony will be held at MacGregor Park. During the ceremony, East Broadway will remain closed from the Downtown Lights to Fenway St.
