Today we’re celebrating one of summer’s sweetest traditions. watermelon! Whether you enjoy it ice cold, at a family cookout, or straight from the patch, there’s nothing quite like a fresh slice on a hot summer day.

The 2026 Beauregard Watermelon Festival may be in the books, but the memories, friendships, and traditions will last all year long. Thank you to everyone who helped make this year’s festival such a success!

Now it’s time to start looking ahead… we’ll see you again in Summer 2027 for another unforgettable Beauregard Watermelon Festival! 🍉❤️

🍉 What does success really look like?

The world measures success by applause, titles, wealth, and recognition. But God measures it differently.

Our greatest reward isn’t found in what we harvest here on earth, it’s in hearing, “Well done, good and faithful servant.” Like a faithful farmer tending a watermelon crop, we’re called to keep planting seeds of kindness, serving others, and trusting God with the harvest.

May we live each day seeking His approval above all else, knowing that the rewards of faithfulness last forever.

“His master replied, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant… Come and share your master’s happiness.’” Matthew 25:23

Like a watermelon vine with deep roots, our faith can stand firm through every season.

There is not a single day of your life that catches God by surprise. He has numbered your days, walks beside you in every valley, and provides the grace you need for today.

Because He holds tomorrow, we do not have to fear the storm. We can remain rooted, grow where He has planted us, and trust the One who sees the harvest long before we do.

“He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion.” (Philippians 1:6)

🇺🇸🍉 Happy Independence Day from the Beauregard Watermelon Festival! 🍉🇺🇸

Many who fought for our independence were farmers by trade, and their courage, resilience, and ingenuity laid the foundation for a new nation.

Today, we honor the hardworking men and women who have always tilled the soil, nurtured their communities, and passed down traditions that continue to bring us together. From the first harvests of a young America to the watermelon fields of Beauregard Parish, their legacy lives on.

May your Fourth of July be filled with faith, family, freedom, and a sweet slice of watermelon shared with the ones you love.

🍉🌱 Deep roots produce a strong harvest.

Colossians 2:6-7 reminds us to remain “rooted and built up in Him, established in the faith… abounding in thanksgiving.” Just as a watermelon plant must send its roots deep into the soil to survive the heat and storms, our lives must be firmly planted in Christ.

And when the storms of life come, we can stand with confidence because, as 2 Timothy 1:7 declares, “God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.”

When our roots are deep in Jesus, we do not have to fear the wind, the rain, or the unknown. He gives us strength, peace, and courage to keep growing through every season.

May we walk faithfully, remain deeply rooted, and live with grateful hearts, trusting the One who sustains us.
