Vendor Notice – Derby Fireworks Show 2026
The Derby Fireworks Show will be held on Thursday, July 2, 2026, with a rain date of Sunday, July 5, 2026.

Vendors/Food Trucks are invited to participate. A one-day special event permit is required and costs $100.00 (cash or check only).

Permit applications are available at Derby City Hall, 1 Elizabeth Street, Derby. Please contact Pamela Happy in the Mayor’s Suite on the second floor or email [email protected].

All vendors/food trucks will be assigned a designated location.

Please note that only cart vendors will be permitted on Elizabeth Street.

Applications must include:
Proof of insurance
Copies of driver’s licenses for all workers

All applications are subject to approval by the Derby Police Department.

Space is limited, and permits will be issued on a first-come, first-served basis. Vendors/Food Trucks are encouraged to apply as early as possible.

The Derby-Shelton Parade is one of the oldest Memorial Day parades in the State of Connecticut.

Started the day on WICC’s Melissa in the Morning show talking about the Derby Hall of Fame and the historic plaque project. Then Randy Ritter talked about the digitization of the Evening Sentinel and other historic Valley newspapers. There were several other Valley guests during the live broadcast from Valley Diner.
