Handmade functional and decorative pottery Greg's love of art is clearly seen in the beautiful work he produces.

Greg Lathrop has been making pottery since his introduction to the art in high school. For over 40 years, he has been creating beautiful handmade functional and decorative pottery. Greg makes most of his pottery on the wheel, however, he does do some hand building, as well. The glazes that Greg uses are recipes he makes himself and the firing is done in a kiln built by him.

We wanted to let you, our faithful pottery friends, know that Greg will be undergoing open heart surgery in the next few weeks to have both valves replaced. Because of the extended recovery time, we have canceled all of our remaining shows for this year with the exception of the one here in Wichita September 11th-13th. Because of that, we have loaded up the Shop on our website and hope you will take advantage of shopping with us that way. We will certainly miss seeing all of you but will be up and going early next year, Lord willing. Here's a few of the items added just today but they're only a taste of what's on the website.

Two good things:
We have good business insurance.
Due to some health issues of Greg's, this was going to be our last show of the year so he won't have to go nuts trying to recover the inventory we lost.

Still really stinks.....
