Dianna Fisher has worried, texted, messaged and helped keep my mind busy so I don’t fall into that horrible, dark slump I seem to find myself in all to often these days. Today she went above and beyond and got me the best Christmas gift EVER!!! She knows me well and knows what makes my heart truly happy .... HORSES ❤️❤️🥰🥰 Everyone meet “Hope” ...she is truly amazing and super sweet. I’m so excited to have her in the family ❤️❤️❤️ Thank you Dianna Fisher!! I LOVE LOVE LOVE her!!

Where you saw one...you always saw the other. When Twister passed a week ago Spirit wondered around the pasture constantly looking for him. He spent a few days at the lot staring into the pens looking for Twister. I guess losing his best friend was more than he could handle....Spirit passed this morning. He spent 21 years with me giving kids rides every weekend without complaint. I cannot put into words how heartbroken I am. Losing him has completely taken everything from me. I knew this day would come but wasn’t ready for it to be today and so close to losing Gizmo and Twister. 💔💔Pony rides will never be the same 💔💔 Kacy Allen Karla Jo Tish Lanier

I’m not even sure how to make this post. I’ve started 4 times. Today started out a great...went to see Kash play his first basketball game. Received a phone call from Bubba shortly after the game started. He found Twister dead in the pasture. We have no earthly idea what happened...it looks like he just fell over. Spirit will miss his best buddy and I sure will miss his rotteness on the pony ride. Every so often you’re lucky enough to own a very special horse that loves getting hugs and kisses from a very sweet little girl. Spirit is one of those amazing old souls ❤️❤️❤️ Arizona and her momma gave him lots of love and attention. We love meeting new people that share our love for our horses. ❤️❤️

These posts never get easier...especially when they’re unexpected. My ever steady and gentle buddy....Gizmo.... crossed the rainbow bridge this morning at 745. He went down without any warning last night and like always Cody Shatswell and Shawn Hopkins did everything they could do but he had already given up. We did this pony ride several weeks back ... by far it was the most humbling day I’ve spent in a long time. This event was centered around the children and families of children currently fighting, lost the battle to or won the fight against cancer. The first little girl that rode won my heart with 4 little words. When I loaded her I asked if she was super excited and nervous...she quickly responded with “No, I’m strong and brave” ....speechless 😢

*Each white balloon represented a child that lost their battle .... It was such a powerful kick in the gut 😢

When I picked her up in Wheaton, Missouri with 6 others I knew she was foundered and had problems but I bought her anyway. She traveled to as many pony rides as she could comfortably ... always just hanging out at the gate to be loved on by lil ones. I watched her decline all summer but over the last month her knees and legs barely hold her. More times than not she needs help standing so we have been carrying her food, water and hay to her to eat in comfort....and as you see in the picture...a fan too 😊
The decision to do her a kindness has been looming over my head for quite some time and with Cody’s help I realized I’m being selfish at this point. So over the course of the next few days say a lil extra prayer for me ... Cody will be making the final call in the next few days and has decided to do it without my knowledge because I just can’t watch another one go. I know it’s for the best but it sure doesn’t make it any easier 💔💜💛💔 Kacy Allen Karla Jo Tish Lanier

It took some work and completely taking Spirit off the ring but this super sweet young lady went from hiding behind her momma and not wanting to touch the ponies to running up to me and riding every chance she got...it’s moments like these that keep me traveling to the next festival. ❤️❤️
