💜 Before Season 20…there was Season 1.

In 2007, two friends, Robin and Christine, shared a love of dance and a belief that everyone deserved the opportunity to experience it. With a big idea, a lot of hard work, and the support of family and friends, Danceability was born.

What started in a one-room studio with 64 dancers and 40 volunteers has grown into something bigger than they could have imagined.

As we celebrate our 20th season, we’re looking back at where it all began—and celebrating every dancer, family, volunteer, teacher, and supporter who helped us get here. 💜✨

As some of you know, Blair navigates the world with autism and selective mutism. Because of her severe anxiety, her voice sometimes gets physically trapped, making speaking impossible. But just because she isn't always talking doesn't mean she doesn't have a vibrant, brilliant inner world.

Blair has found a powerful way to speak volumes without saying a single word. Her neurodivergent mind gives her such a beautiful, unique perspective, and this competition entry is a perfect reflection of how she sees the world.

Winning this would mean the absolute world to her and be an amazing validation of her hard work and courage.

Thank you so much to our village for always cheering her on, accepting her exactly as she is, and helping her shine. It means more than you know! 💖

💜The first week of classes brought plenty of dancing, smiling faces, familiar friends, and new beginnings. We couldn’t think of a better way to kick off this milestone year!
