Hello all! I have been well, I hope you have too!
Sorry ive been offline for awhile!
Here is a quick update on what I have been up to since last year.
I started an adventure last year of converting an old ambulance into a music truck called the "Jambulance"!
My goal was to travel the country playing music in public parks to create a fun environment for people to dance, connect and have fun.
I started in Indiana and was on my way to Texas but I stopped in Oklahoma to visit friends and family. I am still here in Oklahoma, never made it to Texas. The reason being is medical issues. Currently I am staying with my sister in Edmond Ok and finally receiving some much needed medical help. I have struggled for years with my physical well being.
Today I am proud to say THANK YOU to my sister April for helping me get my Medicaid card!! Thanks to her help I am finally getting to see the doctors I have needed!! I've been able to see several doctors! I have an MRI scheduled this month and am excited (and a little scared) to see what they find!
I now have a new general doctor plus I am getting to see the urologist, physical therapy and much more. I am excited to finally get some real tests done! Medicare is paying for me to get some real in depth testing and finally getting to see what's going on in my body after years of neglect.
I still plan to continue on my musical journey with the "Jambulance" once I finish all this medical stuff. I felt it was important to get these things done before I get back on the road.
Thank you to my sister Christy and her husband Jeff who took me in for a whole year and allowed me to experience Indiana!
Thank you to all of my friends on FB and at Oaklake Trails who have supported me through my life changes these past two years!
Thanks to my sister Angela who spent time with me when I visited her along the way. Thank you to my sister Daniella who spent hours chatting with me on the phone during all this!
Thank You to my sister April who helped me get the Medicaid card and is currently allowing me to stay in her home while I go through these doctors appointments!
Thank You to my awesome friends in Oklahoma who helped me while I have been here in Oklahoma! It would take to long to list them all and for privacy reasons I will simply say: you know who you are! I love you ALL and am incredibly grateful to have you all in my life!! my hope is to someday be able to return the favor!!!
I will keep you updated. When I finish here Oklahoma I will stay in touch and let you know when I get back on the road and continue my musical journey! There will be videos on my youtube channel and a website for those who want to connect and follow along!
For now, I miss you all and I look forward to visiting with you along the way! until then I am posting a link to a book that changed my life for the better! Anyone who may know about this book might be interested to know that there are good things happening in this crazy confusing world we live in today. There is so much negative info coming at us from to many sources that I think having something positive to look forward to may be helpful for some.
