ITS BEEN A WHILE 🫣 hi all!! I made myself this purple themes skull with all sorts of good stuff. I also made this shorty crystal tower for my mom for Mother’s Day 🤍
Quick reflection: After the busiest semester of my education and career, I finally was able to sit down, and create two new pieces for fun! I realized as the semester started and I stopped doing resin after the holidays, I wasn’t enjoying the process as much anymore and felt like I was creating just for others, or to make a side income. It felt like a full time job on top of my actual job and internship which put a lot of weight on my shoulders. I found that this took the pleasure and self care away from doing what I loved. I decided moving forward, if I’m going to indulge my time (which is a long amount of time, my resin ppl you know), I have to at least be creating because I WANT to, and also to make something for myself!! It is so important to put yourself first and I have absolutely learned that throughout this process. Anyways, if you’re still listening to my random rant ily and ty for seeing this 🤍
