What a great day yesterday was. Yes, I was a bit stressed for our first outting, but we had a lovely day with the perfect air and water temps!
Thank you to Shelley and Tim for their knowledge pontoons and Clara and Josh who guided us north from Cape Charles. Peter did a great job too!!

Just saying, this guy, Peter Helck didn't need to do this work. I could have hired someone. It has really turned into a major labor of love. I'm so appreciative of his skill and knowledge. We appreciate the work Charlie put in this Spring. It will take much longer than expected as issues have popped up. It eventually will be in good shape for my kids. New plumbing, instant hot water heater, venting, and electrical. New bathroom with washer dryer. We will be saving boards, old painted bead board, etc. and the rough boards that were in the cabin to reuse on a wall. It will be completed eventually. Breathe.........

Borrowing neighbors shower, heating wate and cooking on the grill.
We thought the refrigerator had died, but the extention cord was faulty, thank goodness.
Very slow going as things are popping up that need attention.
We do have a toilet and cold running water
