Join the Fun at the Gratitude Potato Golf Cart Parade & Celebration!

Get ready for one of the most uplifting events of the fall quarter! On Thursday, November 6, come to Campus Green for the Gratitude Potato Golf Cart Parade (1:00–2:30 PM) and Celebration (2:30–4:00 PM). Enjoy free tater tots, potato snacks, plus tons of potato-themed games and crafts, from sack races and hot potato to decorating your own spud! Departments and offices are decorating their golf carts and joining the parade for a chance to win the Best decorated Potato-Themed Cart Prize.

Join the golf cart parade, bring your bike, skateboard, scooter, or walk alongside the Potato Truck Parade as it makes its stops across campus and goes back to Campus Green for a big celebration. Let’s celebrate gratitude, community, and creativity, potato style!

Join DU Campus Partners at the Campus Green for a fun-filled gratitude event featuring the Potato Truck Parade! The parade kicks off at CCOM (Campus Green) with stops at the Graduation Green from 1:15 - 1:45pm and the Engineering Building green from 2:00 - 2:30, offering exciting activities and baked potatoes with your choice of topings at each location. Find us then on Campus Green from 2:45 - 4:00pm. Compete in classic games like the Potato Sack Race, Wheelbarrow Racing, Hot Potato (musical style), Baked Potato Balance/Fake Pie Tray Balance Race, and the Potato Spoon Race for a chance to win delicious pies! My name is Sho McClarence, and I am a PhD. candidate in the Joint Doctoral Program in Religious Studies. I also work in Anderson Academic Commons, and I am a part of my program's Graduate Student Association. This year, I am really excited to take the research I have been working on to an international conference in Oulu, Finland!

Graduate Appreciation Week: Tuesday Hightlight

My name is Mounika Vangali, and I'm a graduate student currently enrolled in the Information and Communication Technology program. On campus, I've been actively involved in various events and activities. I participated in the 4D Fall Jamboree, it was a feast of fun! From scrumptious eats to colorful face paint, raced through an inflatable obstacle course and indulged in epic pie tasting. Additionally, I joined the Gingerbread House Making event, volunteered for HocktoberFESTival, and took part in the GRAD PAINT AND SIP session. I'm excited for this year's many academic prospects as an international graduate student from India, including conducting cutting-edge research, working with renowned instructors and fellow students, and going to informative seminars and conferences. In terms of culture, I'm excited to embrace new experiences, embrace diverse customs, and develop deep relationships with individuals from a range of backgrounds. Personally, I'm looking forward to getting to know the lively neighborhood, finding hidden treasures throughout the city, and fostering international friendships. All things considered, I hope to have a year full of learning, development, and special moments that will enhance both my academic and personal journeys.
